Job Summary
The Dean of Strategic Enrollment will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for all aspects of recruitment and admission of undergraduate and graduate students. This role collaborates across departments to enhance the university's enrollment goals and ensure efficient processes for prospective students. The Dean will develop and implement successful recruitment and admissions initiatives that align with the university's strategic enrollment plans, while overseeing and supporting recruitment and admissions operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic enrollment plan aligned with the university’s mission and goals.
Lead recruitment and admissions efforts to attract an optimal number of students to enroll at the University.
Analyze enrollment data and market trends to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with academic departments, student services, and marketing teams to create a cohesive communications and enrollment strategy.
Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including prospective students, parents, secondary school counselors, and university faculty and staff.
Foster relationships with high schools, community colleges, and other institutions to enhance partnerships and outreach initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate enrollment metrics, providing regular reports to university leadership on progress toward enrollment goals.
Review and resolve complex admissions and customer-related issues, ensuring a positive experience for prospective students and families.
Engage in professional development and stay informed about national trends and best practices in enrollment management.
Develop and manage the implementation of on- and off-campus recruitment events, such as campus tours and open houses.
Supervise and provide leadership for freshman, transfer, international and graduate recruitment teams as well as the admissions operations team and campus visits/events team.
Execute excellent training and professional development plans for all supervisory areas.
Ensure effective communication of college admissions policies and practices for undergraduate, graduate, and international admissions.

Minimum Requirements
Education – Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; Doctorate preferred.
Experience – Eight years of professional experience in enrollment management, admissions, or related areas in a higher education setting.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to building collaborative relationships.

Proficiency in enrollment management software and data analysis tools.

This position generally supervises others.
