What We Are Looking For

 

Baylor University is seeking an Administrative Manager within the Office of the Registrar. This position manages various services provided by the Office of the Registrar to faculty, staff, students, alumni, and other constituents. Overseeing the support staff who respond to inquiries from all Baylor constituents by phone and email. This position helps identify and improve the services provided by the Office of the Registrar to support Baylor's mission and strategic goals. In addition, the position supports the office with budget, purchasing, and personnel.

 

A Bachelor's Degree and five years of relevant work experience is required. Seven years of work experience is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another.

 

A hybrid work arrangement will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

 

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

 

What You Will Do

 

  • Oversees operational components of the office, including processing of transcripts, enrollment, degree verifications, basic registration processing, and records maintenance
  • This includes assisting with questions regarding procedures or policies and managing front office communications
  • Provides leadership to identify and implement process improvement initiatives for existing systems and processes as well as implement new or changed processes for central staffers and for distributed constituents
  • Recruits, hires, trains, and coordinates the effort and schedules of three office staff and the student employees
  • Coordinates human resource and budgetary aspects of personnel management (i.e. hiring, transferring between positions, etc.)
  • Collaborates with the Registrar and Associate Registrar for Business Operations and Analysis on budget planning and management
  • Completes, logs, and reconciles all office purchases. Oversees purchase and maintenance for all office equipment, which includes: scanners, fax machines, computers, printers, and telephones
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support the mission of Baylor University
  • Comply with University policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
