Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Undergraduate Recruitment is responsible for developing the UT Tyler profile among high school students, community colleges, transfer students, staff and administration. Oversee the Admission Officers. Implement growth goals set by the Assistant Vice President of University Recruitment and Admissions. Responsible also for developing and implementing the on-campus prospective student experience. Hiring and supervising team members for the college readiness department, undergraduate recruitment and the admission representatives. Responsible for managing the recruitment efforts including the college readiness initiatives, undergraduate and transfer initiatives. The Assistant Director of Undergraduate Recruitment will work closely with the Assistant Vice President of University Recruitment and Admissions to sustain and further develop partnerships and relationships with the local ETX region and neighboring regions including collaboration with high school counselors, community college advisors, transfer coordinators, principals, and superintendents. Continue to educate and empower students to discover what’s next after high school.

Additional Information
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
