About the Role
The University Registrar provides executive leadership and strategic direction for all functions of the Registrar’s Office, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of student records while driving forward-thinking processes that make every Gator’s academic journey seamless and successful.
This position oversees the full scope of registration, academic records, grading, degree audits, and compliance functions while partnering across departments and divisions to modernize systems, elevate service, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive leadership for all operations within the Registrar’s Office, including registration, records management, degree audit, graduation processing, and compliance.
- Oversee the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of student academic records in alignment with FERPA and university policy.
- Partner with IT, Campus Solutions, and Institutional Research to optimize systems such as PeopleSoft and related student information technologies.
- Lead strategic initiatives that streamline processes and enhance the student and faculty experience.
- Serve as a trusted collaborator across academic and administrative units, building partnerships that support curriculum, enrollment goals, and student success.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, supporting professional growth and promoting excellence.
- Represent UHD in state, regional, and national professional forums related to enrollment services and higher education policy.
What We’re Looking For
- A Master’s degree (Doctorate preferred) from an accredited institution
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in registrar or enrollment management roles within higher education
- Deep knowledge of PeopleSoft (or a similar student information system)
- Proven success leading change, managing teams, and integrating technology-driven solutions
- A commitment to student-centered service
- A passion for collaboration, accuracy, and creating pathways to student achievement
