Graduate Enrollment Counselor I

The Graduate Enrollment Counselor I will serve as one of the contacts for applicants to graduate programs. The position assists students, faculty, and staff in navigating the application process and interfaces collaboratively across various academic departments to achieve enrollment goals and accomplish tasks reporting directly to the Executive Director of Graduate Admissions. 

Major Responsibilities/Duties/Critical Tasks

• Serve as one of the contacts for applicants to graduate programs. 
• Process admission documents for applicant review. 
• Assist in guiding students toward next steps to enrollment including but not limited to registration agreements, holds, tasks, and advising appointments. 
• Review prospective student applications and follow up with students to verify any application issues, including discrepancies and/or missing information. 
• Work collaboratively with academic departments and other enrollment counselors to review applications and send out admissions offers. 
• Respond to prospective students and applicants across all platforms (phone, email, social media, text, CRM, etc.). 
• Counsel and advise applicants on next steps. 
• Provide support for recruiting initiatives and achievement of enrollment targets. 
• Ensure quality by providing high levels of customer service to internal and external constituents. 
• Represent graduate admissions at various admissions and recruiting events. Travel as needed. 
• Occasional weekends/evenings required for special events and recruitment presentations (i.e., Patriot Premiere, Commencement, virtual information sessions, etc.) 
• Other duties as assigned.
